Iran's Art Bureau has planned to hold nationwide poster exhibitions on Ahvaz terrorist attacks in southwestern Iran.
The exhibition will host posters with theme of the shooting attack on a military parade that killed 25 people in Iran’s southwestern city of Ahvaz on Saturday.
The Art Bureau published a statement on Sunday and asked interested artists to submit their works to the following email address: posterforahvaz@gmail.com.
Condemning terrorism, paying tributes to the martyrs, respecting the devoted soldiers, as well as keeping unity and solidarity of people and the officials can be among the topics for the posters.
The selected works will be displayed in different exhibits across the country in the near future.
The "al-Ahwaziya" terrorist group, which receives backing mainly from Saudi Arabia, claimed responsibility for the attack shortly after it was carried out.
Additionally, the terrorist group of Daesh claimed it was behind the attack and published online purported footage of the assailants.
Three of the four assailants involved in the attack were killed by Iranian security forces, and a fourth one was arrested but later died of the wounds he had sustained during a security chase.
Monday has been declared a day of public mourning in Khuzestan Province, and the victims will be buried following the funeral procession.
